K CARRIER SITES
The Reno A & B cable route--K carrier-- entered California east of Truckee. The first California stations was the Cal-Vada K station then to the Truckee K Station. Next was Kingvale (Notice the elevated snow access door, then Blue Canyon. The next stop was Colfax, then Auburn, Roseville and then to Sacramento. The Oakland A & B cables left Sacramento for Davis, Cordelia, Elmira and south to Oakland/San Francisco. The Stockton A & B cables carried K service south to LA and the lower part of the state. The Elk Grove and Lodi stations (right outside the Lodi MW Site) were between Sacramento and Stockton.
