ABERDEEN


 Former C&P Telephone Company office.  Became Bell Atlantic Maryland and now Verizon Maryland office.

This is the same Aberdeen of the proving grounds fame. Aberdeen also lays claim to being Cal Ripken Junior's hometown even thought Cal Jr. was born in neighboring Havre De Grace.



BAINBRIDGE


 Former C&P Telephone Company office.  Became Bell Atlantic Maryland and now Verizon Maryland office.

 Former C&P Telephone Company office.  Became Bell Atlantic Maryland and now Verizon Maryland office.

NORTHEAST

 

 Former C&P Telephone Company office built in 1964.  Became Bell Atlantic Maryland and now Verizon Maryland office.



PIKESVILLE

 Former C&P Telephone Company office.  Became Bell Atlantic Maryland and now Verizon Maryland office.

Between November of 2000 and March of 2001 the Pikesville tandem became the IntraLATA tandem for the Baltimore LATA providing relief for the Charles Street tandem. In addition to providing IntraLATA tandem relief to the Charles Street CO, Pikesville also took over IntraLATA duties from the Annapolis tandem for the Annapolis, Crofton, Parole and North Beach offices. Charles Street remains the InterLATA tandem for the Baltimore LATA.

QUEENSTOWN

RISING SUN

 Former Cecil Farmers Telephone Company office.  Now Armstrong Telephone Company of Maryland.  This is the only independent (i.e non-Bell) central office in the entire state of Maryland.
