Ann Arbor main was initially built by Michigan Bell in 1925 and later added on to "The windowless concrete block monolith now at the rear) in the 1960s-1970s.

Serves the old village of Farmington just north of Southfield.

Livonia is located just west of Detroit.  Also serves as local service center.

PONTIAC

PONTIAC MICROWAVE TOWER

 

Pontiac is the tandem office for the northwestern region of the Detroit metropolitan area.  Also was a AT&T toll center with microwave connection to Milford.  There were another pair of microwave horns but these have been removed and possibly shot toward Pontiac tower or Mount Clemens.

The original central office was built by Michigan Bell in 1928 and later expanded in the 50s and 60s.

Today fiber optic connects Pontiac with Detroit and Flint.

CO that serves the City of Romulus.

ROSEVILLE

ROSEVILLE "NORTH"

Ex: Michigan Bell-Ameritech-SBC.  Had remote receives for the UHF and VHF IMTS Mobile telephone for the Detroit system.
 

MARQUETTE

Marquette CO is the Tandem office for the upper Michigan Peninsula for Ameritech.  Note retired AT&T microwave tower TD-2 paths connected Marquette to Forsyth.

Newer CO built by Michigan Bell to serve the small suburb of Centerline (Within the City of Warren) and also serves the General Motors Technical Center hence the office name of "Tech" (GM Tech Center) and "Line" Centerline.

This CO has a plaque at the front that memorializes the deaths of Michigan Bell employees during World War II.
