ANAHEIM 17 "ANAHEIM HILLS" The Anaheim Hills CO has one of the most creative designs around due to its location in a upscale suburban development. When the CO was constructed the local home owners associated required the structure to blend into the surrounding neighborhood with minimal impact. The design resembles houses in the area. The chimney supports the emergency generator exhaust, when techs visit the CO they are required to park inside the garage and then close the doors. Even at night, the CO resembles a occupied home as the false windows have lights which go on and off with a timer. Wonder if the next door neighbor even knows what's next door to him??

Type: Suburban
Very cool looking CO, probably one of the most creative designs around. Its a remote switch serving two prefixes. Was built in the early 1980s to relieve Anaheim La Palma and Yorba Linda. Switch hosted by the Laguna Niguel office. |

This unique CO serves the Balboa Peninsula/Island area of south Orange County. The Balboa area has some of the highest price real estate in the southern California region.
